Physics Laboratory

Vision, Objectives & Interdisciplinary Integration

The Applied Physics Laboratory serves as a cornerstone of the Diploma in Engineering curriculum, aligning with AICTE's Outcome-Based Education (OBE) mandate and DoTE Regulation 2023.

Core Objectives: Empirical verification of physical laws, precision instrument proficiency, and analytical data interpretation.

Multi-Disciplinary Applicability:
• Mechanical & Civil: Properties of matter, mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Electrical & Electronics: Electromagnetism, optics, and modern physics.

CSE Laboratory II

A high-tech facility with 30 modern computers, 24×7 broadband internet, UPS backup, and cutting-edge software for programming.

IoT & Digital Twins: Real-time virtual replicas of physical systems enabling simulation, monitoring, and optimization.

Component-Based Technologies: Modular, reusable software engineering principles for scalable application design.

Data Science: Python, R, and SQL environments for machine learning, AI model building, and large-scale data analysis.

Hardware Laboratory

A specialized hands-on workshop providing practical knowledge of computer architecture, peripheral devices, and troubleshooting — bridging theory and real-world technical proficiency.

Computer Hardware & Networking: Assembly, troubleshooting, and networking of desktop computers. Students install operating systems, configure BIOS/CMOS, and repair components including motherboards, RAM, and drives.
